Finsternis and Turoon
is currently only available in the German language, because
the books have only been published in Germany so far.
Preparations to publish them in English are underway, however.

Wuun is a green,
paradisiacal world, whose inhabitants have lived
peacefully together in total harmony with nature,
since the beginning of time. A very old legend tells
that the gods of light blew out a piece of Wuun's
sun at the birth of the planet and hurled it down on
its surface. They built a temple to it where it
landed, from where the sunstone, which derived its
energy from the inexhaustible power of the sun,
began to control the future development of this
world. With its help the powers of light created a
world of beauty and peace. Protected against all
influences from the dark side, a paradise came into
being, which existed undisturbed for millions of
years. But the power of the sunstone slowly
disappeared, because the sun, which renewed its
energy, was old and its light became dimmer day by
day. So one night the dark forces succeeded in
invading this beautiful world and a terrible time
dawned, full of battles, grief, fear and violent
death. A very old prophecy tells that a small Velbe
will banish the forces of darkness and bring peace
back to Wuun. But this little Velbe is anything but
a hero! Nevertheless, he develops because of his
virtually unsolvable mission, he even finds a girl,
who stands by him in all situations and finally, he
has to go with her on a long journey full of
fantastic adventures and dangers, which demand
everything from them. They only survive so many
tests because of their courage, their unshakable
belief in each other and their unconditional love.
Will they succeed in fulfilling the prophecy and
bring back peace to their world and what is the role
of the stranger with the glowing eyes, a master of
sword fighting and magic? |
The Velbe-girl
Saira lives happily and carefree on the planet Wuun.
She is just graduating as a magician and is already
the best apprentice of her master. But one day she
suddenly gets abducted from her planet of origin to
the waterworld Turoon. After transformation to a
deep sea creature, she shall work there as a slave
in a mine until the end of her life. She experiences
for the first time the horror of slavery. The dull,
harsh physical work, the daily oppression and
humiliation of her overseers and the cruelty and
coldness of her masters. But Saira is not willing to
simply accept this fate. She finally succeeds to
escape with her instructor Cherou, and a long,
adventurous and mostly dangerous chase across the
ocean takes its course. The two refugees are drawn
deeper and deeper into a network of plots, betrayal,
war and destruction during their escape. The
destruction of the entire planet finally is about to
happen! Will they be able to change the apparently
inevitable fate of their world, free the slaves and
bring back peace to their home? Which part however
plays the mighty fire-crystal with its tremendous
magical power? |
